About Me

Toni-Marie Foster started dancing at age of 6 and grew up in the dance school owned by her parents. By 15 she was ranked no.2 in the British ballroom charts and no.4 in the Latin American field. Her amateur competitive career was cut short age 17 when she had to give up competing due to a chronic illness.
Shortly after surgery Toni-Marie started teaching at her parents dance school (the Foster School of Dance) and helped at another school called Dance Magic. She also became a student dance teacher for the Children’s University, teaching children to dance in local primary schools.
When she was 19, Toni-Marie went to work at sea on the 6 star Crystal symphony Cruise ship as well as P&O and Asuka Cruises as a guest entertainer, teaching dance classes to the passengers and performing dance shows with her partner. In April 2006 Toni-Marie hosted her own version of Strictly Come Dancing on P&O’s Oceana, where she taught 8 passengers and 8 crew members to dance together for a competition at the end of the cruise which was televised. See the magazine video here.
Toni-Marie now lives in Epsom in Surrey where she teaches dance classes for the Mad Stage School and the Rosina Wenham School in Woking and supports a senior ballroom team in Egham for competitive training as well as teaching private lessons and running dance practices.
She also has 2 diplomas (ITEC & Raworth) in Anatomy & Physiology and massage and provides services to dancers and dance teachers.
Recently married, Toni-Marie lives with her husband Dan. Dan is an open Competitive Ballroom dancer in the Senior (over 35's) field and was the 2008 British Champion along with his partner, Janine Desai
